DBK provided Cost Management and Employers Agent services to Gallan Developments in respect of the first phase of their 220,000 sq ft mixed use hotel, retail and leisure development adjacent to the Bull Ring Shopping Centre in Birmingham City Centre.
The first phase comprised a 210 -bed Travelodge Hotel incorporating a restored 19th Century Listed Building (42-45 Upper Dean Street) which fronts a central atrium covered courtyard and reception area for the hotel.
The overall mixed use development will comprise a further 340-bed hotel, 18,000 sq ft of retail units and 10,000 sq ft of offices (a unique two storey, fully glazed flagship office address to be constructed above the heritage building), restaurants and bars.
